A Perfect Storm for Teaching Training & Development: ADDIE, Practice, Project and Alignment All the Way
Preparing students for real-world work is a theme in our courses. In the training world, projects often begin with a blank sheet of paper with little or no direction but are related to real business problems. In my Training & Development course, I use the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) as a framework for the course that includes individual and group practice activities that further enable students to complete their group project.
