you know what we're looking for - teaching innovations that are fun for students and educators alike, knowledge-generating, impactful, replicable, easily shared with others, low-cost, learning-oriented, and can be communicated in a "quick and dirty" format

from a number of presenters in a “show us what you got” in five minutes. Past sessions have covered a wide array of activities and topics including communicating across cultures, perception, motivation, leadership, conflict resolution, self-management, team
building, and creativity (to name a few) - any topic we cover in our classes is a good topic for this session. The teaching tools/approaches that have been shared in the past include, dancing, painting, meeting the professor in ways you hadn't considered,
dialoguing, puzzle solving, brain teasing, utilizing new technologies, and mind mapping. This is a historical favorite at the MOBTS Annual Conference and you too can be a part of the campfire glow.<span style="color:#1F497D"> These are the “I wish everyone
could see how this short exercise impacts the learning/climate/engagement in my class” activities……short and impactful!! To be honest, over the years I have “stolen/borrowed” more of these than I can count, and these are the things that students often talk
