Using Panel Discussions to enhance ethical learning. Activity beyond the classroom with local impact.

Keywords: Panel Discussion, ethics, local panelist, impact

Abstract: Panel Discussions are pedagogical alternatives that allow students to engage in conversations about a topic, share ideas with experts, expand their knowledge, and ultimately form their position towards an issue. Nevertheless, in the academic realm, sometimes, the use of panels is associated with costly events. This session presents panel discussions' best practices as a pedagogical or teaching strategy with no cost and with local impact. It also offers previous experiences from panels developed during the academic years 2018-2019 & 2019-2020 on business ethics courses.
