Let’s All Go to the Movies, Together: A Resource Exchange and Roundtable Discussion on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Management Education Video Clips

Abstract: While video clips have undoubtedly advanced the practice of management education, management theory and the presenters’ recent classroom experiences suggest that new sources of video clips may be an avenue to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in management classrooms and in organizations. In this session, we will briefly review research that suggests possible links between video clips and DE&I impacts in the classroom, discuss experiences and challenges associated with the use of video clips from a DE&I perspective, and exchange video resources that explicitly or implicitly foster learning and DE&I in management classrooms and organizations.
