I do Have Something To Say: Using Blogging For Student Engagement

Abstract: To facilitate a positive learning community and increase student engagement, we present blogging as a resource. First, we introduce blogging and its history. Next, participants will create their own blog post and share it with others. We will then discuss the role of metacognitive processes in blogging. As a takeaway from the session, we will present an exercise used in an online Managing Across Cultures course. Finally, we end the session with blogging best practices and on how to incorporate effective blogging into any management course, whether online or face-to-face. Bring your laptop and see what you have to say!
