This session is an off-campus experience that is an experiential walking tour and discussion in The Point Neighborhood of Salem. The session will meet at the mural called ‘Totem’ by artist Ledania which stands on the corner of Congress St. and Peabody St. in Salem. It’s near the 24-30 Congress St. Parking lot.

Justina will be in front of the mural at 11:15am but the group can start walking together from the ‘Totem’ mural point to other nearby murals at 11:30am for those coming from a prior session. The session will include a very short few blocks walk together to see a condensed area with many murals and to discuss the session on how to utilize street art (and visual arts in general) in our courses.
