Abstract: Extending a MOBTS 2023 session entitled, “Student-Team Selection Using a ‘Speed-Grouping’ Process,” this session will present a virtual option for completing the ‘speed-grouping’ process. The ‘Speed-Grouping’ Process is a modified Speed-Interviewing/Dating technique allowing both students and instructors to have input into the team member composition. This virtual version of the process allows students to introduce themselves through short videos so all students have an opportunity to get a sense of the personalities and priorities of their classmates. Session participants will gain the information for using this process in a virtual setting and see how it aligns with the in-person version.
