Keywords: Generative AI, entrepreneurial and experiential learning, student assessments

Abstract: Evidence suggests that the use of ChatGPT and other generative AI tools has the opportunity to interrupt students at a lower level of thinking. At the same time, a good assessment is thought to move beyond remembering and recalling information into higher-order levels of thinking, such as application, synthesis, evaluation, and creation. The panel presenters have been wrestling with and experimenting with ways of incorporating AI into student assessments while at the same time adjusting for misuse of these tools for effective student learning. We offer practical examples that leverage student diversity from international, cultural, experiential, and personal perspectives.
