Abstract: Abstract This session will conduct a brief case study about an entrepreneur’s proposal to create a new product using radical organizational practices, such as no hierarchy and no job descriptions. Attendees will read the case study and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed organization. During the discussion, participants will explain their reactions to the radical practices and be questioned in order to surface their assumptions and beliefs about people and organizations. Because this case study is brief, engaging, and relevant to OB, it is particularly useful for the first class session.
