Abstract: This case study examines the rapid expansion and cultural evolution of a leading company in the UK pub industry. The cornerstone of Stonegate's organizational ethos lies in its company values, which have profoundly influenced its work culture, employee engagement, and talent management strategies. These values underpin the company's approach to celebrating success, managing resources, adapting to change, maintaining operational simplicity, and fostering teamwork. The case specifically hones in on Stonegate's archetypal approach to mental health and well-being, revealed through its dedication to handling employee mistakes and helping new leaders with the challenges of imposter syndrome. We closely follow one such leader, Stephanie, who provides a personal perspective on these challenges, illustrating the impact of workplace stress and the importance of support systems. In the interactive session, this case study will serve as a platform for analyzing Stonegate's strategies and discussing the practical implementation of its core values and mental health initiatives. Participants will engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas, exploring parallels to their organizational experiences and challenges. The goal is to foster a rich dialogue on effective leadership, culture management, and integrating mental health support in the workplace, encouraging participants to apply these insights in diverse organizational contexts.
