Abstract: Adaptation of the content and context of Strategic Management (SM) teaching to organizations' needs to gain sustainable competitive advantages is not straightforward. Hence, what, how, why, and when we teach strategic management courses at any level of higher education is always a challenge for instructors and curriculum planners. To move forward SM teaching that builds strategic thinking for potential managers, instructors need to consider diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a rising phenomenon or practice in any organization. Join in this Roundtable Discussion where we will share questions we have around teaching DEI concepts within the Strategic Management Process. In addition, we will facilitate a discussion with fellow strategy instructors on what they are doing in this area and have a brainstorming session on possible new ways to integrate DEI into our strategy courses. Therefore, this discussion will benefit participants in developing SM curricula that empower potential practitioners to lead organizations or communities.
