Utilizing Chatbots To Increase Student Engagement, Deib, and Cross-Cultural Learning In Management Classrooms

Abstract: Management education is undergoing transformation with newer technologies in terms of accessibility and flexibility. In this landscape, students want to learn differently, employers want reskilling, and higher education institutions are under pressure to produce impactful results across socio-demographics. We will emphasize how chatbots can alter how management education addresses these issues. We focus on three aspects: 1) facilitating higher student engagement; 2)how chatbots can be utilized for DEIB implementation efforts in classrooms; and 3) increasing cross-cultural learning. In this workshop, we will review sample chatbot technologies, their capabilities, and hands on practical tools to create chatbots toward these ends
