Abstract: Abstract: the impending enrolment “cliff-edge” is an issue which affects all of higher education. This session addresses the issue by asking participants to consider the potential usefulness of the organizational management concept of “complex-adaptive-systems (CAS)”, and whether they hold the answer to some of the challenges presented by the “cliff-edge”. Primary questions discussed will be; “do you believe your institution is a CAS already?”, “Do you believe this structure holds benefits for your institution?”, and “how would we use it in the future?”
