Abstract: Teaching cases are valuable pedagogical tools. They give students experience in identifying, analyzing, and addressing real-world business issues by applying the knowledge and competencies developed through their coursework. Published cases can suffer, however, from limitations and shortcomings that reduce their value. Writing one’s own cases is a solution but can be very challenging. Presenters of this PDW will share and demonstrate a systematic method to leverage ChatGPT or Bard and write custom cases with ease and speed. Participants should bring laptops or other electronic devices to actively engage in the workshop and experience producing their own custom case documents.
