Abstract: This PDW tackles the barriers of fear and institutional resistance that inhibit effective allyship behaviors. Through interactive discussions and role-playing scenarios, we facilitate opportunities for participants to devise actionable and courageous allyship strategies that propel justice, equity, belongingness, and inclusion (JEBI). Our goal is to equip participants with tools and networks to transform their fears into proactive, courageous actions that support and inspire change. Ultimately, we aim to cultivate learning environments where marginalized students, faculty, and staff can all flourish and thrive.
