Students Finding Video Clips For A Leadership Development Program

Abstract: Videos clips have been found to be a useful tool for student learning, with students involved in the finding and selection of clips helping their engagement. This session presents an exercise where students are tasked to find freely available and engaging online clips that can be used for a leadership development plan. These can be originally for training purposes or popular culture clips. Students need to pick clips related to leadership concepts, explain what concepts it relates to, and provide reflection questions. Use of this assignment paired with a real-life organization or as stand-alone assignment are discussed.
