Consulting As A Capstone Course: Bringing Real-World Projects Into The Classroom

Abstract: Utilizing our experience as instructors of undergraduate and graduate capstone courses, we will share best practices and lessons learned for incorporating management consulting projects into these courses. Participants will experience a structured and interactive discussion of course learning objectives and outcomes, levels and types of projects, working with various sectors including nonprofits, small and large businesses, and international teams, and the differences among these components. We will encourage participants to share their experiences and provide a summary for all to reflect on for the future.
