So You Want To Work Remotely? Understanding Negotiations At The Center of Remote Work

Abstract: In this interactive session, participants will be able to engage in an experiential exercise that helps students learn negotiation skills within the increasingly common context of negotiating a remote work arrangement. Participants will be able to take part in a multi-issue role play that unpacks differing managerial and employee perspectives on remote work, in which seven issues related to working from home are considered. During the session an abbreviated version of the exercise will be run, a typical debrief, and a discussion of potential applications.
