Abstract: As educators, we spend time mastering our course content, improving our teaching techniques, and adopting assignments and exercises. But we often overlook who we be in the classroom. An Educator Alter Ego is a persona of composed the traits, beliefs, and behaviors that we wish to embody that push ourselves outside our comfort zone and default way of being to focus on the parts of ourselves that allow us to realize our purpose. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the concept of an alter ego and engage in an exercise to develop an Educator Alter Ego.
