Abstract: Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) only became widely available in November 2022, but at present, even discounting familiar technology hype, is predicted by some to be a technology innovation with implications as far reaching as printing or the internet. In relation to attitudes to technology-based change, there continues to be a significant number of academics who are at best only minimally engaged personally with addressing the implications for teaching, learning and assessment. This session showcases a workshop process specifically aimed at influencing this sceptical cohort at least to address GenAI personally, including beyond teaching and learning
