Integrating Speed Dating: A Peer Learning Pedagogical Strategy to learn about Consumer Protection in a Business and Society Class
In-class peer learning is an effective pedagogical approach for addressing subjects that students must grasp in an engaging manner. This article describes an experiential activity where students engage in a speed dating encounter in a business and society class to explore various consumer protection agencies and their functions. The exercise instructions and any complications are addressed. This speed dating game fosters peer learning and ensures high participation among early undergraduate students.
