No Union, No Voice: What about Shared Governance?
In a time of turmoil in business and management education, now more than ever faculty need to have a voice in the future. When there is no union, faculty rely on the norms of shared governance for that voice. Yet, as administrators take more liberties in the name of financial exigencies, closing Universities and reducing staff and academic positions with little if any warning, what should business management education faculty do? Should faculty give up the fight or “Don’t Stop Believing.”
