Using Integrated Assignments to Reinforce Course Material
Most faculty use a variety of experiential exercises throughout the semester to reinforce important course concepts. Typically, these are stand-alone exercises focused on individual topics without a common thread to tie them together. While this helps students apply the material, it fails to show a connection between course topics. This session introduces an inspiring new strategy, where we show how experiential exercises can be linked to an overarching case study to demonstrate the connections between course topics using an example we created for a compensation class. Join us to explore how you can use this approach in your own classes.
