What Your Negotiation Course is Missing: SMARTnership and NegoEconomics

Many negotiation classes focus on qualitative approaches such as open communication, trust-building, and issue prioritization. While these skills are essential, they often neglect the quantitative aspects of negotiation, such as calculating precise values for trade-offs or optimizing multi-issue agreements.

This experiential exercise introduces participants to the concepts of SMARTnership and NegoEconomics, which integrate negotiation strategies and mathematical economic frameworks to enhance decision-making. Participants will complete a role-play simulation that mirrors real-world challenges in resource-limited environments to hone their bargaining skills.
