Strategy Showdown: H2O Edition
The "Strategy Showdown: H2O Edition" is an innovative experiential learning activity designed for undergraduate and MBA-level Strategic Management courses. This exercise immerses students in Michael Porter’s Competitive Strategies framework—Cost Leadership, Differentiation, Focused Cost Leadership, and Focused Differentiation—by challenging them to create and pitch a bottled water brand aligned with one of these strategies. Students engage in critical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving as they craft brand identities, target markets, product features, and unique selling propositions.
