Leadership Labyrinth: Applying Leadership Styles Through Interactive Escape Room Scenarios

The “Leadership Labyrinth” is an interactive activity designed to teach leadership theories through a Google Forms escape room. Grounded in foundational leadership theories – transformational, bureaucratic, democratic, and autocratic – the activity challenges participants to navigate complex scenarios while reflecting on the implications of various leadership styles. Designed by a graduate student, the activity integrates concepts and connections across multiple courses and original research to create a comprehensive learning experience. The session, offered in a hybrid format, will guide attendees through the escape room experience and explore how experiential learning activities enhance the teaching of leadership concepts in meaningful and engaging ways.
