Deep Listening In One Word - Who is the Speaker and What is the Speaker Saying?

Deep listening is an essential tool for leaders to acquire as they work with followers and other leaders. Students are required to listen to professors and others throughout their day during an academic semester. Oftentimes in those situations listening becomes a survival tool to make sure homework is done correctly and an assignment is turned in on time. Deep listening is more than a survival tool. Deep listening teaches a student to enter without judgment, be attentive to the whole person speaking, seek value in what is shared, and add that value to his/her/their story.
