Empowering Students to Navigate Global HRM Challenges

This exercise introduces an immersive, team-based exercise designed to equip students with the skills to address global HRM challenges. Participants will take on the roles of VPs in a U.S. based sportswear company, tasked with crafting a strategic plan for international expansion into four countries. Grounded in Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and Bloom’s Taxonomy, the activity fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and strategic decision-making. Students analyze diverse market dynamics, evaluate HR compliance issues, and propose tailored HR strategies. Attendees will explore implementation variations, gain practical tools, and leave inspired to prepare students for the complexities of global business environments.
