Creating Immersive Thought Experiments: Framing High-engagement Classroom Discussions

This session will explain and explore the anatomy of an immersive “thought experiment” as a teaching tool that can prompt highly engaging classroom discussions on nearly any topic. Participants will experience two tested thought experiments related to dimensions of diversity and will receive a template for developing or refining thought experiments for their courses that align with their teaching style, subjects, and student populations.
