Teaching How to Use AI Tools in the Recruitment and Selection Process: An Organizational Perspective

This session introduces interactive classroom exercises that engage students in exploring the ethical and practical implications of AI in recruitment and selection. Designed as the second of two complementary sessions to address AI in hiring, in this Activity/Exercise session we will share successful activities that have been used to introduce and engage students, including leveraging AI tools for job descriptions and addressing ethical dilemmas in recruitment through stakeholder role-play. Participants will actively engage in demonstrations, experience debriefing processes, and receive detailed materials and handouts to utilize the exercises for their classrooms. Participants will leave with actionable strategies for their teaching and a clear understanding of how to implement and debrief these exercises effectively.
