Fishing in a pond: Revisiting “Tragedy of the Commons”
This 60-minute activity session aims at demonstrating how instructors can present the concept of Tragedy of the Commons and make connections to politics, influence, negotiation, and sustainability in a fun and engaging way. The proposed activity is applicable for face-to-face classrooms and is suitable for undergraduate courses. I believe that the ideas presented in this session could successfully be used in classes such as Organizational Behavior, Introduction to Management, Strategy, or any class that teaches sustainability, teamwork, power, and negotiation.
