From Faculty to Administration: Preparing for the Transition

Faculty often move into administrative positions with limited preparation, navigating the transition with minimal formal orientation. Although our field is management, teaching theoretical concepts differs vastly from managing the applied realities of administration. In this session, the panel will explore the lived experience of administrators: what changes, what remains constant, and the unexpected challenges and rewards of the role.
