Comparing Teaching Track and Tenure Track Experiences: Perspectives from Around the World

Do you ever wonder how the teaching track and tenure track experience compares around the world? If your answer is “yes,” then join us for an engaging session with panelists from different continents who will share their perspectives on 1) how the two categorizations of faculty are utilized in their respective areas of the world, and 2) the benefits and challenges for both types of faculty. After the panelists share their perspectives, we will shift to an open discussion with participants about the topic and possible implications for higher education (e.g. creation of a tiered professor system, will tenure continue to exist?)
