The AI Bridge: Using Generative AI to Simulate and Solve Cross-Cultural Management Conflicts

How do we move students’ concept of Hofstede’s cultural dimension beyond just memorizing and into the nuanced reality of global management? Our interactive AI teaching session demonstrates a high-impact teaching method that bridges the gap between theory and practice by pairing traditional cultural frameworks (Hofstede & GLOBE) with Generative AI. Participants will experience a live demonstration of how Gemini can be used as a "cultural simulator" to generate real-time workplace scenarios, role play difficult conversations in different county settings, and provide instant feedback on conflict resolution strategies. We designed for educators who want to evolve their curriculum and showcase how AI can serve as a supportive tool rather than replace critical thinking in the classroom.
