Using Land-based and Environmental Learning Activities in a Global Classroom with STEM and Management students

This session will demonstrate validated experiential exercises used in an interdisciplinary and global classroom. We describe how management and STEM students from different countries engaged in hybrid and land-based experiential exercises to solve organizational behavior and human resource management problems. They collaborated and learned using virtual meeting tools and live-streaming platforms. Informed by the results of our recently published paper, these experiential learning activities were designed to elicit insight and analytical thinking. In addition to learning about these exercises, participants will also learn the use of LLM to assess student learning and refine their pedagogy.
