Career-relevant Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management Exercises to engage students in the Business Minor

STEM students often struggle to prepare for their careers. This session presents three experiential OBHR exercises successfully implemented in a 12-week course: resume assessment for personal branding, job characteristics analysis for understanding career meaning, and performance management tool design. These activities help STEM students articulate their skills, identify fulfilling job elements, and set performance goals. Faculty participants will experience exercises, review sample student responses, and discuss debriefing strategies addressing impression management, motivation, and system awareness. The session demonstrates how career-relevant OBHR activities can enhance STEM undergraduates' professional literacy and career readiness.
