Who Are You? Personal and Leadership Values Clarification Exercise
Values shape what people notice, prioritize, and tolerate, yet many students have never named their non negotiables or explored how values shift from individual contributor to leader. Drawing on research that values are relatively stable across early adulthood, this session demonstrates two ready to use values clarification exercises that turn vague ideals into decision usable criteria. Participants complete a brief ranking and reflection task, compare patterns in small groups, and practice a structured debrief connecting values to career and workplace fit. Attendees leave with discussion prompts, adaptable handouts, and tips for managing value conflict, disclosure boundaries, and online or in class use.
