Becoming an effective and efficient academic advisor using Moodle: Guidelines for management faculty with excessive workloads

As management faculty, we instruct students about ways to be effective and efficient with resources. But do we as management faculty apply those same concepts to our personal work in order for us to achieve balance among our teaching, research, and service responsibilities? This PDW session will showcase how this question was applied to the service responsibility of academic advising to create an academic advising system using the Moodle learning management system that increased the quality of academic advising to students while freeing up time for the other areas of teaching and research.
