Instructor-Lead to LLM-Partnered Learning and Assessment: Autonomy and Metacognition in Flipped Management Classrooms

The rapid integration of large language models (LLMs) into higher education is reshaping the role of instructors and students in flipped classrooms. This professional development workshop explores a shift from instructor-led to LLM-partnered learning in management education, focusing on how LLMs can be designed and guided to support student autonomy and metacognitive development. Participants will examine practical classroom strategies that use LLMs to scaffold pre-class preparation, promote reflective thinking, and enable adaptive learning pathways. Through interactive demonstrations and applied design activities, attendees will develop actionable approaches for integrating LLMs as learning partners while maintaining pedagogical rigor and academic integrity.
