Rooted in Pause: Using Arrival Practices to Slow Down in the Classroom

In this session, we will introduce a classroom ritual - arrival practices - designed to foster empathy, inclusion, and authentic connection among students and faculty. Specifically, we will share four arrival practices, giving attendees the practical strategies and confidence needed to immediately integrate arrival practices into any management course. We will also discuss strategies for taking a pause as a faculty member.
