Warning: These Exercises Could be Habit Forming

This interactive session will showcase two exercises highlighting how simple but deliberate tools can help students move away from their tendency to engage in intuitive, reactionary decision-making toward a more intentional approach. The first exercise offers a very simple exercise that has been effective in helping students improve their time management skills. The second exercise offers a more structured approach, where students work with accountability partners to develop new leadership habits over a few weeks. A debrief will discuss the nuances of the approaches and how they can be tailored to fit different curricula. Both exercises are appropriate for Organizational Behavior and Leadership classes, held in-person or online, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
