Evaluating and Designing Inclusive Management Education using the Inclusive Curriculum Enhancement Tool (ICET)

This Professional Development Workshop supports management educators to move from aspirational commitments to curriculum decolonisation and inclusion toward practical, evaluative curriculum change. Drawing on the Inclusive Curriculum Enhancement Tool (ICET), developed through academic collaboration and student partnership and refined over three academic cycles, the workshop introduces a structured, reflexive framework for evaluating inclusive curriculum design in management education. Participants will engage in guided reflection, peer dialogue, and hands-on activities to examine curriculum accessibility, representation, assessment, and reflexivity within their own contexts. Evidence from large-scale implementation across 234 undergraduate and postgraduate modules highlights common strengths, constraints, and opportunities for change. Emphasising student–staff partnership and developmental evaluation, the PDW equips participants with practical tools, examples, and an action plan they can adapt to support inclusive and culturally responsive curricula within institutional and accreditation constraints.
