THE EFFECTUATION DISCOVERY LAB: AI-POWERED EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Traditional entrepreneurship pedagogy teaches students about decision frameworks through cases and lectures, but rarely enables discovery of principles through lived experience. This AI-powered simulation guides students through effectuation-based founding decisions using a structured "6-Stage Prompt Arc" methodology with embedded assessment rubrics. Students discover how entrepreneurs think by making consequential resource-allocation decisions in real-time, receiving adaptive feedback, and self-assessing against transparent criteria. This approach honors core educational values of curiosity-driven learning, intellectual autonomy, and developmental assessment. The session demonstrates the complete student experience, then reveals the replicable methodology participants can adapt to their courses, transforming AI from answer-provider to learning partner.
