Years of Experience: Aging-Informed Perspectives in Management Education

Abstract: As the global population continues to grow, a range of factors, including demographic shifts, economic fallout from the global pandemic, and evolving generational outlooks on the value of meaningful work, have increased the number of older adults in the workforce. This roundtable will examine the national and international effects of an aging workforce and what that means for management education. The session will explore current pedagogical approaches as well as opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration in teaching aging-related topics across a variety of management and organizational behavior content areas.
