If You Can’t Beat ‘Em, Join ‘Em! A Demonstration Project for Using ChatGPT to Generate Tailored Organizational Behavior Classroom Exercises

Abstract: AI applications including, most recently, ChatGPT, have been causing great consternation and even existential crises in educational circles. Since Artificial Intelligence is not going away, progressive educators might be wise to embrace and utilize the technology. This meta-pedagogical session will demonstrate how to harness the alien technology to generate active learning opportunities for organizational behavior students. The demonstration—generating classroom exercises for students around the question of integrating the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals into organizational behavior topics—will be followed by a modeling exercise to tailor these learning generation tools to specific student interests in organizational behavior.
