Immersive Learning – Augmenting Ob & Management Studies Through Vr Technologies

Abstract: Virtual Reality (VR) is an immersive technology that generates a profound awe effect. Our experiential workshop aims to expose participants to the potential of VR in education, demonstrated through an organizational conflict and a rich narrative led case. Participants will experience segments of "Spiral Flow", simulating a board-level conflict. Participants are randomly assigned to a role, navigating through tasks of leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict management, making critical choices that influence outcome. By the workshop's conclusion, participants will understand VR's role in education and how to integrate it into their teaching, demonstrated through the example of a negotiation setting.
