An Interim Exploration of Student and Faculty Attitudes Toward Genai and Genai Detection Software

Abstract: In this session, we present interim results from a multi-campus, large-scale study which investigates student and faculty attitudes towards the use of GenAI tools in assessment and classroom settings, along with their attitudes to the use of GenAI text detection software to make judgements on academic misconduct. The results are presented and discussed with implications for management education in higher education programs.
