Abstract: Our negotiation agent has been trained using complex negotiations and disputes, which include relationship and communication challenges, and elicit emotional reactions and difficult behaviors from both the agent and the human negotiators. Thus, role-playing with our agent usually involves cases that go beyond the simplistic used car sales or salary case with financial and non-financial issues that require negotiation and conflict management skills to reach a successful outcome.
