Abstract: Kansai Gaidai University and the University of Hawaii - West Oahu have cooperated to develop international fully integrated virtual exchange (IFIVE) as a model to teach business management courses to students from Japan and the U.S. for a semester-long courses intercultural experience. It saw a significant boost during the pandemic, but the return to campus is forcing a rethink on how to deliver virtual exchange to students who prefer face-to-face interaction. This breakout room session will discuss the development of IFIVE and brainstorm solutions for maintaining virtual exchange amid the return to in-person instruction.
