The exercise is designed to engage participants in understanding and applying McClelland’s Achievement Motivation Theory through a practical, interactive activity. The primary goal is for participants to collect as many points as possible by choosing and performing tasks. Rewards and challenges, encouraging participants to make strategic decisions based on their motivations. Debrifieng of the game explores the reasoning behind their choices, focusing on the motives. Participants also reflect on how these decisions align with the principles of the theory and its implications for individual and organizational development.
